Howie ....

I am so sad right now. Just got the call from the Vet and she thinks it is CA. Today he had x~rays and a biopsy. I will pick Howie up in a couple of hours and I will discuss with the Doc what the options will be for treatment and I am praying for healing. I pray that Howie will have a long life with us....A good life and one filled with lots of love and pizza crusts...........

Patti-I know this is not the news you wanted. I am so sorry. Hopefully with the right meds and lots of love he will have a few more good years. So much like what we went through with UB - I guess you just have to do the best you can and appreciate your time with him. You will be in our thoughts. April & Tony

My prayers are with you and Howie.
I am blessed to love a shelter dog. I have spent the last 14 years being unconditionaly loved by a wonderful dog. My heart aches for you but I believe in the power of prayer.

Ahhhh Patti I am so sorry to hear about Howie. I unfortunately don't have my dog now since the divorce. No pets allowed :`-( I miss him so much. I hope Howie is cured and he can live with the CA.

Patti & Tim, If it's love alone he will a few more good years, but we will send our pizza crusts if that's what it takes to keep happy and healthy as can be expected. Keep us posted.

you and Howie are in my thoughts and prayers. He is truly lucky to have someone who loves him so much! I am a pet lover too - lost my Lucy January 5th, Lucy was a big, loveable St. Bernard. I miss her everyday.

Patti - I was so sorry to read about Howie's diagnosis. All of my dogs have been rescue dogs. They have not been from a shelter but each one was headed there and I gave them a home before that could happen. I hope everything works out and you can enjoy Howie for years to come. Please give Howie a hug and kiss for me. You will be in my prayers.

We are going through this right now with my grand doggy. I hope you find out that he has a good chance with treatment and you can enjoy him for many more years. We already know that is not the case for our sweet brady.
