~~Our New Employee~~

For everyone that has visited our Shop, The Brickhouse Craft Shop, you know Howie Dog our Brickhouse Greeter. Well, Howie is now training a new Greeter.....Cricket. We rescued Cricket this week from a local SPCA. So when you stop by don't be too surprised if you see a little black dog greeting you. Oh Howie is still our MAIN GREETER but we thought we would work on getting Cricket used to being in the Shop.

Now this is time for us to make a Public Service Announcement: PLEASE go to your local Shelter/SPCA and PLEASE adopt a pet...you won't be sorry! 11 years ago this month we adopted Howie and he has been the best dog ever...so please give a dog/cat a loving home.

I am highly allergic, but we have ALWAYS preached to our kids to ADOPT pets---and they have. Colonel (now passed away ) and Stryker were/are dearly loved and cherished. The BEST pets come from shelters--they KNOW they are wanted!! Thanks for your prayers, Patti!!--Hugs, Jan

Love the newest employee! I totally agree with adoption from shelters...we adopted our twin boy golden retriever/lab mix from a local shelter 12 years ago...best dogs we ever had! The nice thing is..they make sure they have all their shots and are already "fixed" for you...can't beat that!
