Something NEW!

I have been "experimenting" with something new and here is the outcome of my first experiment...Cement Eggs! I saw these eggs on two other blogs and thought I would try to make them. So what do you think? They are a bit of work to make but I am having fun..it is fun because I get to play in "mud" and create new things. Right now I have a little bee skep "curing"...can't wait to see how that turns out...then on to making lots more!

LOVE your eggs!! What a great idea. I saw the cement beeskeps in Ohio (along with cement pumpkins and snowmen), they are just awesome and I want to try to make some too. One of these days I want to come porch sit on your porch! Dawn

Hi Patti, Love your cement eggs, what a neat idea. I love how you have wrapped the fabric and twine around them. I just bought a cement bee skep for my garden. Have fun playing in the cement. Vicky

Wow! These are great. I never would have thought of them. I bet you could make a flat side to them and use them as door stops for the Spring season too! We have old farmhouse doors that our cat loves to close which means she gets locked in the room (she just can't figure that out). I'm always in search of seasonal doorstops.
Perfect! Staci

What is a bee skep? Clueless Perry County redneck. Eggs are really cute.
